Description
Almond milk is delicious and nutritious. Pour it on cereal, in coffee, smoothies or drink it plain! Almond milk is an excellent non-dairy beverage.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup raw almonds
- 2 cups water
- 2 dates
Steps
Using a food processor or blender, blend raw almonds into a powder. Add water and dates. Liquefy. Strain.
Additional Tips
Almond milk may be one of my favorite beverages. Dairy free. If you are planning to use the almond milk recipe for something other than drinking straight, you don't need to strain the almond milk. Its nice to leave it thick for a smoothie or in a baking recipe.
